For our second year we are co-sponsoring the “Franklin Forty” Gravel ride at the end of September on Sept. 28 with a scenic tour from Choiniere Organic Farm in Highgate along the Canadian border and Lake Carmi (two optional rides of different lengths). Our partners are Friends of Northern Lake Champlain who have had past success with a ride in Grand Isle. We are aiming for a successful ride and fundraising to support our new 8 mile Ridgeline Connection Trail from the Town Forest to the MVRT at Greens Corner Crossing.
You are invited to join us to help with planning and executing this important fundraiser and regional riding event this Thursday August 8th at 14th Star 7-8pm. We will need some help to make it successful. Having run the event one year already, we already have a good idea what it takes. Please consider helping out as much or little as you are able.
If you are interested in riding either the 43 mile or 17 mile breathtaking scenic route, the registration link is below on Bike Reg. It is a great cause and you will get gear and food as part of your registration.
